Priority Electric LLC — Powering what matters
Home electrical work

One electrician for the house

Repairs, upgrades, remodels, and the odd jobs in between. You call about your home and reach the person who will actually stand in front of your panel.

Houses collect electrical needs the way they collect everything else: gradually, then all at once. The outlet that quit last winter, the panel you have been meaning to ask about, the kitchen you finally want to redo. When you go looking for an electrician, you mostly want one thing: a competent person who shows up, explains what they see, and charges what they said they would.

Priority Electric is a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor serving homes across Pierce, King and Snohomish County. It is a small shop on purpose. The electrician who quotes your job is the one who does it, which is why reviews mention punctuality, straight explanations, and work left clean, visit after visit.

How working with us goes

You describe the house and the problem, by form or by phone. We ask a few questions, sometimes for a photo of the panel with the door open, and give you a written scope with a number on it. If anything found mid-job would change that number, work pauses and your phone rings first. Permits, where the job needs them, are in the scope from the start; how estimates work spells out the whole sequence.

Not sure what the symptom means?

The electrical help center explains the common ones in plain language: flickering lights, GFCIs that refuse to reset, outlets gone quiet. Reading up first is free, and it makes the eventual conversation faster. Check the service areas map if you are unsure whether we reach you.

How to choose a residential electrician, any of them

The short interview below works on every shop that might bid your work, including this one. Confidence in your questions is worth more than loyalty to any logo.

The five-minute interview

  • Are you licensed, bonded, and insured, and is the person quoting the person who shows up?
  • Will the scope and its number be in writing before work begins?
  • What is your rule when you find something unexpected mid-job?
  • Who pulls the permit when the work needs one?

Take these seriously

A number given verbally and defended later. Pressure to commit today for a price that expires tomorrow. A bid produced without a single question about your house. And around the home, the things you can notice without touching anything: warm cover plates, lights that dim when an appliance starts, a breaker that needs regular resetting. The symptom pages sort out which of those can wait and which cannot.

The homeowner's share of the work

Know where your panel is and keep the path to it clear. Label breakers as you discover what they feed; future you, standing in the dark, will be grateful. Press each GFCI's test button on a monthly rhythm. And keep one running list of the house's small electrical oddities so a single visit can clear them together. When bids are next on your calendar, getting ready for the estimate and reading estimates past the number are the homework.

When you are ready, tell us what the house needs or call (206) 718-3047. No call center, no dispatch queue.

FAQs

Common questions

Do you take small household jobs?

Yes, and without sighing about it. A single outlet, one fixture, a switch that buzzes: bring a short list if you have one and the visit earns its trip. Small work done well is where most of our long-term customers started.

Who actually shows up at my house?

The electrician you spoke with. This is a small licensed shop, not a booking platform, so the person who heard your description is the person at your door, tools in hand, at the time you agreed. Meet him on the about page.

How should I describe my problem if I don't know the terms?

Plain words beat wrong jargon every time. Which room, what happened, when it started, what changed around then. Photos help. Turning that into circuit language is our half of the conversation.

Do you serve my town?

We cover Pierce, King and Snohomish County; the service areas page lists cities and communities in both. Outside them, we would rather refer you to someone we trust than give you a date we cannot hold.

Denis at Priority Electric LLC delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish. We hired him to completely replace all the lighting in our kitchen, including updating the old fixtures and replacing all the recessed can lighting in the ceiling. What truly set Denis apart was his customer-focused approach. Before committing to the full ceiling job, he offered to install a complimentary can light as a test run. This allowed us to see the final look and brightness, which was incredibly helpful in making our final decision. The quality of the work was impeccable and fully met our expectations, and we found his pricing to be very fair for the scope of the project.
